Haley Paige (born December 30, 1981, in Chihuahua, Mexico, died August 21, 2007, in King City, California, U.S.) was an American porn star, adult model, and director of Mexican and Welsh descent.
Paige grew up in Mexico, where she lived until moving to San Diego when she was 12.[2] Her childhood was rough – in her affidavit regarding her marriage to her ex-husband, she states, “I was molested by an uncle, which my parents knew about, but never did anything. At school, I was raped consistently by gang members.”[3] It is uncertain if these events occurred before or after she arrived in the United States.
She entered the adult entertainment industry in 2000 while living in San Diego[4] at the age of nineteen when she answered a newspaper advertisement for nude modeling. At the time, she worked at Blockbuster and admitted that she needed money to pay rent.
In 2006 Haley made her directorial debut with the film Virgin Territory by Smash Pictures.
As of January 14, 2007 the Internet Movie Database has her credited with performances in 284 DVDs and the Adult Web Movie Database has her listed on close to 40 different websites.
Paige married porn film director Martin Del Toro on October 15, 2005 after dating for about 6 months. When they separated, Paige claimed that he married her solely in order to become a legal resident of the United States.[3]
She had aspirations to become a psychologist or sex therapist when her pornographic career was over.[4]
Haley had been missing for two months (circa September 2007) along with her boyfriend, pornographic director Inkyo Volt Hwang (more commonly known as Chico “Wanker” Wang), as rumors circulated about her possible demise. Hwang had been arrested on June 29, 2007,[1] on charges related to beating and kidnapping Haley, but the charges were dropped and Hwang was released on July 3, 2007. It was later confirmed that Haley had died in King City, California, where she had traveled with Hwang. A coroner’s report noted that she passed away August 21, 2007.[1] Sgt. Steve Miller, of the King City Police Department, disclosed that Hwang had been “implicated” in her death. The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Hwang’s dead body had been discovered in a room at an Economy Inn in Morgan Hill, California, on September 29, 2007. His death is “not being considered suspicious” by investigators.[5]
