Zdenka Podkapová
Zdeňka Podkapová (born August 6, 1977) is a Czech erotic and adult model, actress and former gymnast. Podkapová was born in Brno, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic). She is sometimes credited as Zdenka, Zdeňka Popová[3] or Zdenka Novotna.[1][2] She was Penthouses Pet of the Year for 2001.[4]
Before Podkapová started her modelling career, she was a professional gymnast for more than ten years. She was in the Czech national team for five years and she became the Czech national champion four times during her young career.
In 1996, she posed for her first photoshoot, and in 1998 tried contacting Penthouse. Her first pictorials for Penthouse were published in May 1998. She was chosen as Penthouse Pet of the Month. Two years later, she won Penthouse Pet of the Year 2001. “It was a very big surprise for me and I cried like a baby” because “I was the first girl in history from the Czech Republic to win the title as Pet of the Year and the second girl from Europe”.[5]
Later she became a cover girl for Perfect 10, Perfection, Esquire, QUO, Ironman, Front, and Maxim magazines and has also worked as a model for the Atsuko Kudo latex fashion label.
Podkapová currently lives in Brno.
